Women Empowerment Initiative (WEI)

Women and girl empowerment is vital in transforming communities and societies. Globally, 1 in 3 women face physical or sexual abuse. Many a times these victims cannot voice or report issues of abuse to either law enforcement bodies, friends or even church authorities.

Due to this, there is an increasing debate over the roles or interconnections in the roles between religion and the state in promoting the rights of women.
