Community Empowerment
In collaboration with community residents, local leaders, business owners, other NGOs, religious organizations, and Ghana’s national government, BOHF develops, plans, and hosts a variety of community-building and public education activities.
These featured training sessions, seminars, and workshops led by qualified professionals and experts on vocation-specific skills, entrepreneurial strategies, personal finance, legal knowledge, hygiene, nutrition, environmental care, food security, gender equity, and more. Activities also features recreational events and feasts, in which community members can take time to relax, enjoy, and build meaningful relationships with each other.

We stand with you Weija and Tetegu flood victims
Beacon of Hope Foundation collaborated with Greengo investment ltd and other stake holders including the community leaders to help the flood victims of the Weija dam spillage. It was an event designed to bring affected families and the whole community to stand by each other and become more self-resilient in disaster management.
On the 5th and 26th of November, 2022, Beacon of Hope foundation together with West hills mall and Promasidor Ghana donated relief items to the affected flood victims of Tetegu and Oblogo. These are communities in the greater Accra region of Ghana. Relief items donated included: Bags of rice, bread, boxes of tin fish, mosquito nets, boxes of Misky milk and school supplies.
In addition to the donation, a health screening was conducted for the residents of the community. Residents present were tested for malaria and also had their glucose level and blood pressure checked. The event was graced with the presence of the MP and Assemblyman of the area.
