Vera Tetteh is five years old and wants to become a nurse one day. Vera is from Somanya in Ghana’s Eastern Region, but stays with her unemployed mother and father at Block Factory, a low-income community in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. Because of her parents’ unemployed status, Vera is hardly able to attend school and life is very difficult for her.
